From 2002 - 2007, a group of dark artists worked together to bring the world spookyART.com, a site which brought established artists, aspiring artists and fans of dark art together to share and collaborate. In some respects it was wildly successful, but the project ultimately was shut down because too much work was falling on too few people.
Flash forward 3 years to 2010. Bearing the lessons of the past in mind, and taking advantage of technology that just wasn't in place a few years ago, spookyART.com is back solely as a resource for dark artists to connect, collaborate and share information.
If you create dark-themed creative work, we want to see it. If you're a gallery or website that showcases dark-themed work, make yourself known. If you know about an artist or gallery or outlet for dark-themed work, share it.
